Full offline mode is coming with our native mobile apps. Currently, you need an internet connection to use One Little Tool.
We know tradies often work in areas with poor reception. Our upcoming native apps will include offline mode so you can keep working even without internet.
What Offline Mode Will Include
- View assigned jobs - See all your job details offline
- Update job status - Mark jobs as started or completed
- Take photos - Capture job photos that sync later
- Add notes - Write notes that upload when connected
- View customer details - Access contact info and addresses
How It Will Work
When you lose internet connection, the app automatically switches to offline mode. Any changes you make are saved locally and sync automatically when you are back online. You will see a sync indicator showing what is waiting to upload.
Tips for Low Connectivity Areas
Until offline mode is available, here are some tips for working in areas with poor reception:
- Screenshot job details - Before heading to a job site, take screenshots of the job details and customer info
- Save photos locally - Take photos with your camera app first, then upload when connected
- Note the address - Copy the job address before you lose signal
- Download maps - Use Google Maps or Apple Maps offline maps feature for navigation
